Our principal dentist, Dr Ambrose Ebhohimen, is a dedicated professional, and adheres strictly to the guiding principles of the General Dental Council (GDC), as enshrined in the ‘Standards for Dental Professionals’. The Dental Centre under the new management has been significantly modernised and now has the most up to date state of the art dental equipments that enables provision of treatments with predictable outcomes.
Our ethos is provision of High Quality Dentistry that is patient centred, predictable and provided in a friendly and calm modern environment. Our aim is for the Dental Centre to achieve the status of 'A Centre of excellence' in the Kent area and it's surroundings.
Since taking over ownership of the practice in 2024, Ambrose has worked hard to gather a Team of highly skilled and specialised professionals so that majority of specialist treatments can be offered at the practice. The support staff are well trained ,empathetic and very professional
Dr Ebhohimen qualified as a dentist in 1997, and has vast experience of working as a General Dental Practitioner (GDP) in the UK. Ambrose has a research degree (Mphil) in child dental health from the University of Sheffield. He is a certified invisalign/Fastbraces provider and holds a Masters degree in Restorative Dentistry from the prestigious dental school in University of Birmingham.
Ambrose is a certified implant dentist following completion of his training from Practical Implantology Team UK. He is also an Associate Fellow of the College of General Dentistry

Dr Tolefe qualified in 1993 and has had extensive experience working as a dentist within the hospital and general dental practice environment. Louis is passionate about continuous professional development has been an Educational Supervisor with The London and Kent, Surrey, Sussex Postgraduate Dental Deanery for 14 years.
He holds postgraduate qualifications in Minor Oral Surgery and Implant Surgery from the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh respectively. He is also an Associate fellow of the College of General Dentistry.
Louis has been involved with patient care all his working life.
He ensures that a patient-centered philosophy drives the dental care he provides

Mr Raghuram Boyapati is an NHS consultant Oral, Facial/ Head and Neck Surgeon at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust, UK. He is qualified in both Medicine and Dentistry.
He obtained his MBBCh from the esteemed Trinity College Dublin, Ireland and BDS, MDS (Oral Surgery) from India prior to embarking on post-graduate dental (MFDSRCS) and Medical (MRCS) Royal College examinations.
He then pursued Maxillofacial higher surgical training for 5 years in Kent, Surrey & Sussex deanery, obtaining immense experience in Dento-Alveolar surgery, Head & Neck cancer, salivary gland surgery, Facial skin cancer, Facial trauma and Orthognathic surgery.

He is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh (FRCSEd) and was appointed substantive Head & Neck Surgeon in East Kent with NHS clinical commitments in Ashford, Canterbury and Margate. He is also a member of the European Association of Cranio- Maxillofacial Surgeons and a fellow of the British Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons.
Dr Lordan qualified with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Universidad Católica de Valencia in Spain. After moving to the UK, she completed her NHS Foundation Year in Kent before working in general practice in Notting Hill. She then progressed to become a Dentist with Special Interest in Endodontics, focusing on root canal treatments. Completing a Master's degree in Advanced Endodontics in Madrid, she continues to attend regular specialist courses to stay current with advances in modern endodontic care.
Before pursuing dentistry, Lizzie completed a BSc in General Nursing at University College Dublin and worked as a Registered General Nurse in Dublin. This is where she developed a strong foundation in patient care.
Outside of work, Lizzie enjoys live music and theatre, travelling, and spending time with her family in beautiful Ireland.

Dr Aung obtained his bachelor in oral biology in 1993 and qualified in dentistry in 1995 from Guys Hospital, London. Since qualifying, Jonathan has worked at practices around South East Kent before becoming an associate at The Dental Centre in 2004. In addition to dentistry, Jonathan’s passions are rugby, his family and travel.

Dr Uppal graduated from Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2023. After qualification, he completed his foundation year in Gillingham,.
He is currently undertaking a competitive two-year fellowship in restorative dentistry and has completed advanced training in clear aligner therapy.
Beyond dentistry, Dr Uppal enjoys an active lifestyle, with particular interests in football and badminton. He also has a passion for cooking and travelling, which allow him to explore new cultures and experiences.

Sophie qualified as a dental nurse in 2013 following completion of her dental nursing training at the practice. She became the head nurse in 2025 and she is in charge of training nurses/reception staff. She is a very dedicated member of our team and has wealth of experience as a dental nurse. She is very passionate about cross infection control, policy implementation/documentation and complance in general. She prides herself in offering patients excellent support and plays a vital role in calming nervous patients during treatment. In her spare time she enjoys knitting, embrodery and crochet.

Izabela qualified as a dental nurse in July 2021.She registered with the General Dental Council on 8th October 2021. She works in both practices owned by the principal dentist and heads the compliance Teams of both practices.
She is a very dedicated member of our team and well liked by patients of the practice.
Izabela has a primary degree in sports science from Romania and enjoys sporting activities.
Izabela speaks English, Romanian, Italian and Spanish.

Clare is a very caring hygienist who has been a member of The Dental Centre team since 2006. She qualified from Guys Hospital, London in 2005. Clare was a squadron leader for the RAF cadets and enjoys playing musical instruments and raising her children.

Annabelle has worked as a dental hygienist for years and has extensive experience working in different private practices. Prior to training as a dental hygienist, she worked as a qualified dental nurse and has been wealth of experience in the dental industry.

Sara qualified as a dental nurse in 2020 and she joined our team in 2025. Sara is a very passionate dental nurse having previously done 2 years as head dental nurse at her previous practice. In her free time she loves cooking, meeting friends and running, and recently completed a half marathon. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two teenage children.
